AUDITION - SCIMM. DANCE COMPANY

Do you move with curiosity? Create with intention? Collaborate with heart?
Scimm. Dance Company invites professional-level dancers aged 18+ to audition for our 2026 performance season. We’re seeking bold, expressive, and technically grounded artists to join our collective.
What to Expect - The audition will include a contemporary technique class, followed by a ballet or jazz/commercial class, and task-based improvisation. No solo required. Just bring your artistry, versatility, and readiness to move.
Who We’re Looking For - Scimm. is home to dancers with diverse foundations: contemporary technique, ballet lineage, commercial edge, all are welcome when they bring commitment, individuality, and a collaborative spirit. We are hiring for paid company positions in our major performance seasons in 2026 including Midsumma Festival.
*Applicants must be aged 18+ and hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

One week. Limitless transformation. Step into the world of Scimm. Dance - The Experience, an electrifying, high-impact intensive for dancers aged 9 to 25 who crave performance, professional mentorship, and creative firepower without the long commitment.
This is your chance to train directly with Scimm. Dance Artistic Directors, Scott Pokorny and Tim Barnes, alongside an elite faculty of contemporary, ballet, commercial, and jazz artists. In just one week, you’ll create, rehearse, and perform in a bold new work, culminating in a powerful showcase performance on Sunday, September 28 at 7:30 PM.

1:30 - 3:00 PM | Afternoon: Guest Artist Series

THE EXPERIENCE
