The Scimm. Dance Pre-Professional 2026 intake audition is your chance to join one of Australia’s most progressive and industry-connected contemporary dance training programs.

Dancers will experience ballet, contemporary, and improvisation with Scimm.’s leading faculty, including Artistic Directors Scott Pokorny and Tim Barnes, alongside Ballet Coordinator Andie Dashwood.

Audition options: In-person (primary), Online audition & Video submission (for interstate/international applicants)

OPEN CLASS SERIES — TERM 2

TRAIN. EXPLORE. CONNECT. Our popular Open Class Series is back for Fridays in Term 2. Across May, join Scott Pokorny and Tim Barnes for their signature Scimm. style contemporary morning classes - built for intermediate to advanced dancers ready to push their movement, artistry, and creativity.

Afternoon guest classes feature leading artists including Tara Bajan (lyrical) and Hara Papoulias (contemporary), bringing unique opportunities to expand your training and connect with the wider dance community. *Suitable for intermediate to advanced dancers.
