Scimm. Dance presents its 2025 Pre-Professional cohort in Summer Season: a captivating double bill of contemporary dance crafted exclusively for this year’s emerging artists. The program features innovative new works by Artistic Directors Scott Pokorny and Tim Barnes, alongside bespoke creations by guest choreographers Andie Dashwood, Bailey Glen, Ben Scarmozzino, Billie Watson, Darci O’Rourke, Melissa Yvonne Pham and Samuel Dominic.
Blending contemporary, classical, commercial and lyrical influences, Summer Season showcases the dedication, discipline and creative growth of the full-time Pre-Professional dancers as they culminate a transformative year of training and performance. Each piece has been shaped specifically for this cohort, spotlighting their individuality, ensemble craft and artistic evolution.
