Our Platforms Youth Company was established in 2015 to create a platform for young dancers to experience the professional dance world. We do this by allowing them to gain knowledge and experience about how a professional dance company operates. Aspiring young dancers are supported through a rigorous audition process, which leads to an annual six-month creative development program culminating in a four-show season.

Our Platforms Youth Company is regarded as one of Australia's most successful youth programs because we offer hundreds of young dancers professional performance experience. We also allow emerging choreographers and creative artists to develop their skills. Noteworthy past performance seasons include Dualities (2015), Factions (2016), Chromosome X (2017), Void (2018), Within Us (2019), Desolate (2021), Mother (2021), Monark (2022), Play (2023) and Sweat (2024).
